New Jersey High School Basketball - Whippany Park can't hold off Roxbury
February 1, 2024: Succasunna, NJ 07876 The Roxbury Gaels basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Whippany Park Wildcats to 49 in the Gaels non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Gaels now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pequannock for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3.
The Wildcats (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain Lakes (Mountain Lakes, NJ). The Lakers enter the non-league contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Mountain Lakes nudged Sussex County Tech (Sparta, NJ), 58-55, in a non-league contest.
