Iowa High School Basketball - Prairie crushes Dubuque Senior
February 1, 2024: Dubuque, IA 52001 Prairie Hawks (Cedar Rapids, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Dubuque Senior Rams (Dubuque, IA), 59-23 in a league bout.
With the win, Prairie upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Hawks host Washington (Cedar Rapids, IA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 10-9. Washington won 54-43 in their recent league bout against Linn-Mar (Marion, IA)
Next up, the Rams clash with the Hempstead Mustangs (Dubuque, IA) in a Mississippi Valley bout, on Friday, February 2. Dubuque Senior will attempt to upgrade on its 1-17 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 4-14 record after their 66-30 league loss to Iowa City (Iowa City, IA).
