Louisiana High School Basketball - Mt. Carmel crushes Haynes Academy
February 1, 2024: New Orleans, LA 70124 Mt. Carmel Cubs (New Orleans, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA), 52-26 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mt. Carmel upgrades its record to 10-14 on the season. The Cubs travel to Booker T. Washington (New Orleans, LA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 16-5. Booker T. Washington won 55-33 in their recent league bout against Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA)
Next up, the clash with the Sacred Heart Trojans (Ville Platte, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Haynes Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 15-6 season record.
