February 1, 2024: Felton, DE 19943 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lake Forest Spartans (Felton, DE) and the visiting Milford Buccaneers (Milford, DE), saw Lake Forest's basketball squad hold off Milford by a count of 40-35.
With the victory, Lake Forest upgrades its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Spartans host Early College (Dover, DE) to play the Hornets in a Henlopen - Southern challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 12-3.
Next up, the Buccaneers play the Sussex Central Golden Knights (Georgetown, DE) in a Henlopen - Northern challenge, on Monday, February 5. Milford will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Golden Knights come into the challenge with a 0-13 record after their 33-30 non-league loss to Sussex Academy (Georgetown, DE).
