The North Hills Indians routed the visiting New Castle Hurricanes basketball team by a final score of 55-21 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Indians face the Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 2 game, on Monday, February 5. North Hills will attempt to move on its 10-6 season record. The Fightin' Planets enter the game with a 10-9 record after their 41-38 league win over Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA).
