Santa Fe Chiefs (Alma, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sweet Springs Greyhounds (Sweet Springs, MO), 56-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Santa Fe upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Crest Ridge (Centerview, MO) to play the Cougars in a I-70 bout on Friday, February 2. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-11.

Next up, the Greyhounds play the Concordia Fighting Orioles (Concordia, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Sweet Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Fighting Orioles go into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 47-30 league win over Wellington-Napoleon (Wellington, MO).
