Michigan High School Basketball - Taylor Prep fells Star International Academy
February 1, 2024: Dearborn Heights, MI 48127 Taylor Prep Tigers (Taylor, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Star International Academy Falcons (Dearborn Heights, MI), 40-27 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Taylor Prep upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Advanced Tech Academy (Dearborn, MI) to clash with the Lakers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 11-2. Advanced Tech Academy won 55-10 in their recent league bout against Michigan Math & Science (Center Line, MI)
Next up, the Falcons clash with the Canton Preparatory Chargers (Canton, MI) in a Detroit Metro bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Star International Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Center Line Prep (Center Line, MI).
