February 1, 2024: Riverview, MI 48192 Richard Pioneers (Riverview, MI) followers left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their ice hockey team nip the visiting Forest Hills Central Rangers (Grand Rapids, MI), 2-1 in a non-league match.
The Pioneers (9-5) will now prepare for their match against Sault Area (Sault St. Marie, MI). The Blue Devils enter the non-league match with a 13-2 record. In their last match, Sault Area tipped Powers Catholic (Flint, MI), 2-0, in a non-league match.
Next up, the Rangers clash with the Lakeland Eagles (White Lake, MI) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 2. Forest Hills Central will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 16-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Heritage (Saginaw, MI).
