Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Lake Orion can't get by Port Huron Northern
February 1, 2024: Port Huron, MI 48060 Port Huron Northern Huskies (Port Huron, MI) followers left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their ice hockey team nip the visiting Lake Orion Dragons (Lake Orion, MI), 5-4 in a non-league match.
The Huskies (11-7) will now prepare for their match against Alpena (Alpena, MI). The Wildcats enter the non-league match with a 12-8 record. In their last match, Alpena tipped Salem (Canton, MI), 4-1, in a non-league match.
Next up, the Dragons clash with the Central Wolves (Bay City, MI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 3. Lake Orion will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record. The Wolves enter the match with a 12-7 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Calumet (Calumet, MI).
