February 1, 2025: Aliquippa, PA 15001 The Aliquippa Quips were victorious over the visiting Bluffton Pirates basketball squad by a final score of 60-47 in Saturday's non-league outing.
Next, the Quips face the Ellwood City Wolverine (Ellwood City, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 1 outing, on Friday, February 7. Aliquippa will attempt to upgrade on its 14-3 season record. The Wolverine enter the outing with a 13-8 record after their 76-63 league win over Beaver Falls (Beaver Falls, PA).
The Pirates (12-6) will now prepare for their outing against Columbus Grove (Columbus Grove, OH). The Bulldogs enter the non-league outing with a 8-7 record. In their last outing, Columbus Grove ran past Pandora-Gilboa (Pandora, OH), 63-42, in a league outing.
