Oklahoma High School Basketball - Velma-Alma routs Apache
February 1, 2025: Velma, OK 73491 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Velma-Alma Comets basketball team scored a big 68-31 win over the Apache Warriors.
The Comets (21-2) will now prepare for their contest against Elmore City-Pernell (Elmore City, OK). The Badgers come into the Oilfield contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Elmore City-Pernell smashed Ringling (Ringling, OK), 59-50, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Mangum Tigers (Mangum, OK) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Apache will attempt to better on its 10-10 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 12-7 record after their 49-41 non-league win over Tipton (Tipton, OK).
