Virginia High School Basketball - Cave Spring nips Auburn
February 1, 2025: Roanoke, VA 24018 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Cave Spring Knights basketball team scored a close 58-52 triumph over the Auburn Eagles.
The Knights (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA). The Bruins go into the River Ridge contest with a 4-13 record. In their last contest, Blacksburg was tipped by Floyd County (Floyd, VA), 63-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 3. Auburn will attempt to better on its 12-6 season record. The Highlanders go into the contest with a 12-3 record after their 53-52 non-league win over Salem (Salem, VA).
