Minnesota High School Basketball - Central can't hold off Barnesville
February 1, 2025: Barnesville, MN 56514 Barnesville Trojans (Barnesville, MN) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Central Raiders (Norwood-Young America, MN), 75-68 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Barnesville advances its record to 14-6 on the year. The Trojans travel to Park Rapids (Park Rapids, MN) to face the Panthers in a AA Section 8 match on Tuesday, February 4. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 7-8. Park Rapids lost 77-57 in their recent league match against Perham (Perham, MN)
The Raiders now own a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Annandale for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. Central will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 67-57 league win over Foley (Foley, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-8.
