Illinois High School Basketball - Lisle bested by Beecher
February 1, 2025: Beecher, IL 60401 Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL), 60-49 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Beecher advances its record to 13-10 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Seneca (Seneca, IL) to face the Fighting Irish in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Fighting Irish enter the match with a record of 21-4. Seneca won 39-36 in their recent non-league match against Marquette (Ottawa, IL)
The Lions now own a 5-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manteno for a Illinois Central 8 match on Tuesday, February 4. Lisle will face a Panthers squad coming off a 62-57 non-league loss to Armstrong (Armstrong, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 16-10.
