Kentucky High School Basketball - West Carter can't hold off Berea
February 1, 2025: Olive Hill, KY 41164 Berea Pirates (Berea, KY) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host West Carter Comets (Olive Hill, KY), 67-60 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Berea advances its record to 9-11 on the year. The Pirates host Frankfort (Frankfort, KY) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 14-6.
The Comets now own a 3-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewis County for a non-league match on Monday, February 3. West Carter will face a Lions squad coming off a 70-61 non-league loss to Lawrence County (Louisa, KY). The Lions record now stands at 10-7.
