In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Laurel Locomotives basketball team scored a good 58-42 win over the Custer County Cowboys.

The Locomotives (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against East Helena (East Helena, MT). The Vigilantes come into the A Southeast contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, East Helena defeated Butte Central Catholic (Butte, MT), 71-59, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cowboys battle the Fergus Golden Eagles (Lewistown, MT) in a A Northeast contest, on Friday, February 7. Custer County will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the contest with a 7-6 record after their 56-41 league win over Sidney (Sidney, MT).
