February 1, 2025: Waunakee, WI 53597 The DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL) basketball edged the host Waunakee Warriors (Waunakee, WI), 57-52 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Barbs now possess a 18-6 record. They play next when they host Waubonsie Valley for a DuPage Valley bout on Wednesday, February 5. DeKalb will play a Warriors team coming off a 67-53 non-league win over Mukwonago (Mukwonago, WI). The Warriors record now stands at 24-1.
With the loss, Waunakee falls to 14-3 on the campaign. The Warriors host Monona Grove (Monona, WI) to play the Silver Eagles in a Badger - Large bout on Tuesday, February 4.
