In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Delmarva Christian Royals basketball team scored a close 62-55 triumph over the Wilmington Christian Warriors.

The Royals (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Arcadia (Oak Hall, VA). The Firebirds go into the non-league contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Arcadia nipped Northampton (Eastville, VA), 79-78, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Wilmington Friends Quakers (Wilmington, DE) in a Independent Schools contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Wilmington Christian will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record. The Quakers go into the contest with a 9-5 record after their 66-23 non-league win over Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE).
