Wisconsin High School Basketball - Madison West holds off Edgewood
February 1, 2025: Madison, WI 53711 The Madison West Regents basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Edgewood Crusaders to 64 in the Regents non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Regents now have a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to Madison East for a Big Eight game on Tuesday, February 4. Madison West will confront a Purgolders team coming off a 55-47 league loss to Janesville Craig (Janesville, WI). The Purgolders record now stands at 2-15.
With the loss, Edgewood falls to 2-15 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Portage (Portage, WI) to confront the Warriors in a Badger - Small game on Tuesday, February 4. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 1-13. Portage lost 70-58 in their recent non-league game against Markesan (Markesan, WI)
