North Carolina High School Basketball - Epic South overwhelmed by North Mecklenburg
February 1, 2025: Huntersville, NC 28078 In Saturday's non-league test, the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Epic South (Ozone Park, NY), by a final score of 88-48.
Next, the Vikings clash with the West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC) in a 3A/4A Queen City test, on Tuesday, February 4. North Mecklenburg will attempt to upgrade on its 18-2 season record. The Hawks come into the test with a 0-18 record after their 57-34 league loss to Hough (Cornelius, NC).
The (14-2) will now prepare for their test against Beach Channel (Rockaway Park, NY). The Dolphins come into the PSAL 3A Queens III test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Beach Channel was trounced by John Adams (Ozone Park, NY), 55-51, in a non-league contest.
