Washington High School Basketball - Genesis Prep Academy triumphant over Upper Columbia Academy
February 1, 2025: Spangle, WA 99031 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Genesis Prep Academy Jaguars (Post Falls, ID) and the host Upper Columbia Academy Lions (Spangle, WA), observed Genesis Prep Academy's basketball team overwhelm Upper Columbia Academy by a score of 71-46.
The Jaguars (7-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Wallace (Wallace, ID). The Miners come into the 2A Scenic Idaho challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, Wallace trounced Genesee (Genesee, ID), 56-35, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Asotin Panthers (Asotin, WA) in a 2B Bi-County challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Upper Columbia Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 14-6 record after their 69-42 league loss to Freeman (Rockford, WA).
