Wisconsin High School Basketball - Pewaukee defeats Marquette University
February 1, 2025: Pewaukee, WI 53072 The Pewaukee Pirates (Pewaukee, WI) basketball were winner over the visiting Marquette University Hilltoppers (Milwaukee, WI), 71-58 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Greendale for a Woodland - West bout on Tuesday, February 4. Pewaukee will play a Panthers team coming off a 78-46 league loss to Wisconsin Lutheran (Milwaukee, WI). The Panthers record now stands at 10-7.
With the loss, Marquette University falls to 6-11 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to Brookfield East (Brookfield, WI) to play the Spartans in a Greater Metro bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 13-6. Brookfield East won 78-61 in their recent league bout against West Allis Hale (West Allis, WI)
