Missouri High School Basketball - Mountain Grove overwhelmed by West Plains
February 1, 2025: Mountain Grove, MO 65711 In Saturday's non-league test, the West Plains Zizzers (West Plains, MO) basketball squad trounced the host Mountain Grove Panthers (Mountain Grove, MO), by a tally of 77-48.
The Zizzers now possess a 9-8 record. They play next when they host Logan-Rogersville for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. West Plains will play a Wildcats team coming off a 72-55 non-league win over Park Hill (Kansas City, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-2.
With the loss, Mountain Grove falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Panthers host Thayer (Thayer, MO) to encounter the Bobcats in a South Central test on Tuesday, February 4. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 15-3. Thayer won 65-55 in their recent non-league test against Metro Academy (Shawnee Mission, KS)
