February 1, 2025: Roanoke, VA 24019 Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA), 72-44 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Northside upgrades its record to 17-1 on the year. The Vikings host George Washington (Danville, VA) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Wednesday, February 5. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 16-2. George Washington won 96-45 in their recent league match against Mecklenburg County (Baskerville, VA)
The Bobcats now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenvar for a Three Rivers match on Tuesday, February 4. Radford will face a Highlanders squad coming off a 53-52 non-league win over Salem (Salem, VA). The Highlanders record now stands at 12-3.
