February 1, 2025: Peekskill, NY 10566 Peekskill Red Devils (Peekskill, NY) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Poughkeepsie Pioneers (Poughkeepsie, NY), 60-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Peekskill advances its record to 7-6 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Sleepy Hollow (Sleepy Hollow, NY) to face the Horsemen in a Section 1 Conference 2C match on Tuesday, February 11. The Horsemen enter the match with a record of 1-9.
The Pioneers now own a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carmel for a Section 1 Conference 1A match on Tuesday, February 4. Poughkeepsie will face a Rams squad coming off a 71-48 league loss to Yorktown (Yorktown Heights, NY). The Rams record now stands at 3-8.
