With the victory, Rantoul advances its record to 10-12 on the year. The Eagles host Bloomington (Bloomington, IL) to meet the Purple Raiders in a non-league battle on Monday, February 3. The Purple Raiders enter the battle with a record of 1-21. Bloomington lost 60-27 in their recent league battle against Normal Community (Normal, IL)
The Comets now own a 8-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Herscher for a Illinois Central 8 battle on Tuesday, February 4. Reed-Custer will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 67-50 non-league win over Grace Christian Academy (Kankakee, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 9-15.
