California High School Basketball - Coronado crushes Grossmont
February 1, 2025: El Cajon, CA 92021 The Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA) basketball crushed the host Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA), 46-11 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Islanders now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Madison for a bout on Tuesday, February 4. Coronado will play a Warhawks team coming off a 53-40 non-league loss to Helix (La Mesa, CA). The Warhawks record now stands at 19-4.
With the loss, Grossmont falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Foothillers travel to West Hills (Santee, CA) to play the Wolf Pack in a bout on Saturday, February 8. The Wolf Pack go into the bout with a record of 17-1. West Hills won 45-17 in their recent league bout against Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA)
