New Mexico High School Basketball - Taos can't hold off Los Alamos
February 1, 2025: Taos, NM 87571 Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Taos Tigers (Taos, NM), 53-52 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Los Alamos upgrades its record to 3-5 on the year. The Hilltoppers host Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM) to face the Elks/Elkettes in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Elks/Elkettes enter the match with a record of 8-4. Pojoaque Valley won 54-32 in their recent non-league match against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM)
The Tigers now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Espanola Valley for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. Taos will face a Sundevils squad coming off a 45-41 non-league win over Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Sundevils record now stands at 5-2.
