Oklahoma High School Basketball - Afton overwhelms Oklahoma Union
February 1, 2025: Afton, OK 74331 The Afton Eagles basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Oklahoma Union Cougars to 26 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now have a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Welch for a Lucky Seven game on Monday, February 3. Afton will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 31-30 league loss to Bluejacket (Bluejacket, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-6.
With the loss, Oklahoma Union falls to 0-17 on the campaign. The Cougars host Caney Valley (Ramona, OK) to confront the Trojans in a Northeast Valley challenge on Tuesday, February 4. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Caney Valley won 57-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Mounds (Mounds, OK)
