With the victory, Alamosa upgrades its record to 11-5 on the year. The Mean Moose host Monte Vista (Monte Vista, CO) to face the Pirates in a 4A/3A Intermountain match on Tuesday, February 4. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 9-5. Monte Vista won 41-20 in their recent league challenge against Ignacio (Ignacio, CO)
In their next game, the Thunder battle the The Vanguard School Coursers (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Lamar will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Coursers come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 32-31 league loss to Buena Vista (Buena Vista, CO).
