In Saturday's non-league test, the Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL) basketball squad defeated the host Central Rockets (Burlington, IL), by a score of 45-37.

Next, the Maple Leafs clash with the Fulton Steamers (Fulton, IL) in a non-league test, on Monday, February 3. Geneseo will attempt to improve on its 6-18 season record. The Steamers come into the test with a 9-14 record after their 51-42 league loss to Morrison (Morrison, IL).
