February 1, 2025: El Segundo, CA 90245 In Saturday's non-league test, the Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA) basketball squad knocked off the host El Segundo Eagles (El Segundo, CA), by a score of 63-49.
Next, the Mustangs encounter the Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA) in a Bay test, on Tuesday, February 4. Mira Costa will attempt to improve on its 18-9 season record. The Sea Hawks come into the test with a 15-12 record after their 39-38 non-league win over Shadow Hills (Indio, CA).
The Eagles (17-10) will now prepare for their outing against South (Torrance, CA). The Spartans enter the Pioneer outing with a 16-10 record. In their last outing, South was dropped by Cerritos (Cerritos, CA), 57-46, in a non-league outing.
