Michigan High School Basketball - Grant bested by Fremont
February 1, 2025: Fremont, MI 49412 Fremont Packers (Fremont, MI) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Grant Tigers (Grant, MI), 73-54 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Fremont advances its record to 13-2 on the year. The Packers host Ludington (Ludington, MI) to face the Orioles in a Western Michigan - Lakes match on Tuesday, February 4. The Orioles enter the match with a record of 11-4. Ludington won 57-39 in their recent non-league match against Whitehall (Whitehall, MI)
The Tigers now own a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakridge for a non-league match on Sunday, February 2. Grant will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 34-23 league loss to Orchard View (Muskegon, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 2-12.
