West Ranch Wildcats (Valencia, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA), 25-17 in a non-league match.

With the victory, West Ranch upgrades its record to 11-14 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Hart (Newhall, CA) to face the Hawks in a Foothill match on Monday, February 3. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 18-7. Hart won 62-7 in their recent league match against Castaic (Castaic, CA)

The Toreadors now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chatsworth for a West Valley match on Monday, February 3. Taft will face a Chancellors squad coming off a 38-29 league loss to Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA). The Chancellors record now stands at 6-12.
