California High School Basketball - Carondelet thwarts Castro Valley
February 1, 2025: Concord, CA 94518 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Carondelet Cougars (Concord, CA) and the visiting Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA), observed Carondelet's basketball team knock off Castro Valley by a score of 48-31.
The Cougars (18-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty (Brentwood, CA). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 18-4 record. In their last challenge, Liberty prevailed over Dublin (Dublin, CA), 62-26, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Alameda Hornets (Alameda, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Castro Valley will attempt to improve on its 13-3 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 44-17 league win over San Leandro (San Leandro, CA).
