North Carolina High School Basketball - Overhills can't hold off Southeast Raleigh
February 1, 2025: Spring Lake, NC 28390 Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC), 43-42 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Southeast Raleigh advances its record to 11-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host East Wake (Wendell, NC) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 2-9. East Wake won 49-18 in their recent non-league match against West Johnston (Benson, NC)
The Jaguars now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pinecrest for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. Overhills will face a Patriots squad coming off a 49-35 non-league win over E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 14-5.
