St.Ignace Saints (St. Ignace, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host East Jordan Red Devils (East Jordan, MI), 62-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St.Ignace upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Saints host Sault Area (Sault St. Marie, MI) to play the Blue Devils in a Straits Area bout on Friday, February 4. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 6-6. Sault Area won 82-37 in their recent league bout against Newberry (Newberry, MI)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Charlevoix Rayders (Charlevoix, MI) in a Lake Michigan bout, on Friday, February 4. East Jordan will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Rayders go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 53-37 league loss to Petoskey (Petoskey, MI).
