Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Homer-Center overwhelmed by United
February 2, 2022: Homer City, PA 15748 The United Lions basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the host Homer-Center Wildcats to 40 in the Lions league victory on Wednesday.
The Lions now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cambria Heights for a Heritage contest on Thursday, February 3. United will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 49-45 league win over Penns Manor (Clymer, PA). The Highlanders record now stands at 12-5.
The Wildcats (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Marion Center (Marion Center, PA). The Stingers come into the Heritage contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Marion Center triumphed over Purchase Line (Commodore, PA), 54-38, in a league contest.
