Illinois High School Basketball - Augusta Southeastern edges Bunker
February 2, 2023: Augusta, IL 62311 The Augusta Southeastern Suns (Augusta, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Bunker Eagles (Bunker, MO), 45-42 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Suns (21-5) will now prepare for their test against Mendon Unity (Mendon, IL). The Mustangs go into the West Central test with a 9-15 record. In their last test, Mendon Unity got by North Greene (White Hall, IL), 66-39, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Summersville for a Big Springs test on Friday, February 3. Bunker will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 66-58 non-league loss to Eminence (Eminence, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-7.
