Minnesota High School Basketball - Big Lake crushes Zimmerman
February 2, 2023: Big Lake, MN 55309 Big Lake Hornets (Big Lake, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Zimmerman Thunder (Zimmerman, MN), 90-63 in a league bout.
With the win, Big Lake upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Hornets travel to Monticello (Monticello, MN) to play the Magic in a AAA Section 5 bout on Friday, February 3. The Magic go into the bout with a record of 1-16. Monticello lost 92-57 in their recent league bout against Becker (Becker, MN)
Next up, the Thunder play the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders (St. Cloud, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Zimmerman will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 57-40 league loss to Mora (Mora, MN).
