Pennsylvania High School Basketball - DuBois Central Catholic tops Johnsonburg
February 2, 2023: DuBois, PA 15801 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals (DuBois, PA) and the visiting Johnsonburg Rams (Johnsonburg, PA), saw DuBois Central Catholic's basketball squad knock off Johnsonburg by a count of 43-30.
With the victory, DuBois Central Catholic upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Clarion Area (Clarion, PA) to play the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 6. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Clarion Area lost 50-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Clarion-Limestone (Strattanville, PA)
Next up, the Rams play the Sheffield Wolverines (Sheffield, PA) in a Allegheny Mountain - Northern challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Johnsonburg will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 51-27 league loss to Elk County Catholic (St. Marys, PA).
