Mississippi High School Basketball - Houston can't hold off Oxford
February 2, 2023: Houston, MS 38851 The Oxford Chargers basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Houston Hilltoppers to 49 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Chargers now sport a 13-11 record.
The Hilltoppers (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Calhoun City (Calhoun City, MS). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Calhoun City was nudged by Shannon (Shannon, MS), 76-73, in a non-league contest.
