The Petersburg Vikings basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Northern Huskies to 37 in the Vikings non-league victory on Thursday.

The Vikings now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Petersburg will battle a Fighting Irish team coming off a 53-46 non-league win over Southern (Oakland, MD). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 2-12.

The Huskies (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Shanksville Stonycreek (Shanksville, PA). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 3-15 record. In their last contest, Shanksville Stonycreek was routed by Rockwood (Rockwood, PA), 72-51, in a league contest.
