Pequot Lakes Patriots (Pequot Lakes, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Proctor Rails (Proctor, MN), 57-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Pequot Lakes upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Patriots host Aitkin (Aitkin, MN) to play the Gobblers in a AA Section 7 bout on Friday, February 3. The Gobblers go into the bout with a record of 6-11. Aitkin lost 78-65 in their recent non-league bout against Detroit Lakes (Detroit Lakes, MN)

Next up, the Rails play the Hermantown Hawks (Hermantown, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Proctor will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 80-79 non-league win over Bemidji (Bemidji, MN).
