Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Beal City Aggies (Mt. Pleasant, MI) and the visiting Manton Rangers (Manton, MI), saw Beal City's basketball squad hold off Manton by a tally of 49-45.

With the victory, Beal City improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Aggies travel to Lake City (Lake City, MI) to confront the Trojans in a Highland challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 15-1. Lake City won 53-20 in their recent league challenge against Pine River Area (Leroy, MI)
