The Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts basketball team (Chillicothe, IL), was nudged 61-58 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IL)

The Tigers now sport a 24-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host LaSalle-Peru for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 4. Princeton will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 69-50 non-league loss to Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL). The Cavaliers record now stands at 15-12.
