East Valley Athletes for Christ Eagles (Mesa, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Heritage Academy Heroes (Maricopa, AZ), 56-25 in a league bout.

With the win, East Valley Athletes for Christ upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Arizona Cultural Academy (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Monday, February 6. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Arizona Cultural Academy lost 47-31 in their recent league game against Ridgeline Academy (Phoenix, AZ)

With the defeat, Heritage Academy moves to 0-6 on the year.
