February 2, 2024: Winston-Salem, NC 27101 The Southern Guilford Storm routed the host Atkins Camels basketball team by a final score of 80-44 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Storm face the Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles (Greensboro, NC) in a 3A Mid-State game, on Tuesday, February 6. Southern Guilford will attempt to move on its 19-1 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the game with a 17-3 record after their 83-75 league win over Dudley (Greensboro, NC).
With the defeat, Atkins moves to 4-16 on the campaign. The Camels host Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC) to battle the Wildcats in a 3A Mid-State contest on Tuesday, February 6. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 1-19. Eastern Guilford lost 66-50 in their recent league contest against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC)
