Colorado High School Basketball - Brush overwhelms Wellington
February 2, 2024: Wellington, CO 80549 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Brush Beetdiggers (Brush, CO) and the host Wellington Eagles (Wellington, CO), saw Brush's basketball squad wallop Wellington by a tally of 61-37.
With the victory, Brush improves its record to 3-13 on the campaign. The Beetdiggers host Estes Park (Estes Park, CO) to play the Bobcats in a 3A Patriot challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Estes Park lost 56-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Dawson School (Lafayette, CO)
Next up, the Eagles play the Timnath Cubs (Timnath, CO) in a 3A Patriot challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Wellington will attempt to improve on its 0-16 season record. The Cubs come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 49-39 league loss to Strasburg (Strasburg, CO).
