Ohio High School Basketball - Greeneview overwhelms Catholic Central
February 2, 2024: Jamestown, OH 45335 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Greeneview Rams (Jamestown, OH) and the visiting Catholic Central Irish (Springfield, OH), saw Greeneview's basketball squad wallop Catholic Central by a tally of 68-47.
With the victory, Greeneview improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Triad (North Lewisburg, OH) to play the Cardinals in a Ohio Heritage challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 4-13. Triad won 50-49 in their recent league challenge against Fairbanks (Milford Center, OH)
Next up, the Irish play the Yellow Springs Bulldogs (Yellow Springs, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Catholic Central will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-15 record after their 60-53 non-league loss to National Trail (New Paris, OH).
